A Message To Our Members

Thank you for your patience and understanding during the past several months for Our Centro’s exciting renovations.

You have been absolutely wonderful. As we move into the next phase of construction, the elevator will be extended to provide access to the new rooftop space. As a result, the elevator will be out of service throughout July and August, beginning June 29, 2026.

Il Centro will maintain its regular schedule of operations, with all programs and floors remaining open to all members.

Understanding that the elevator shutdown may create difficulties for some, management has already begun outreach to members who cannot utilize the staircase. We will continue to do so and invite members who may need assistance with accommodations and alternative arrangements to communicate with our team.

FIAO remains committed to providing equal access to our programs, services, and activities. Members who require assistance or a reasonable accommodation due to a disability are encouraged to contact the Main Office at 718-259-2828 or [email protected] so that we can discuss available options and support.

For July and August we are offering additional and new classes for all members to participate in. Attached is the schedule that reflects our ongoing commitment of further enriching opportunities. Please check our app for the ongoing schedule updates.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Our Centro regular hours of operation will remain.
  • All programs, activities, and services on all floors will remain OPEN.
  • Access to all floors; Fitness on the 2nd floor, Sports on the 3rd floor, and Swimming on 6th floor will be available via the stairways.
  • Please allow extra time to arrive at classes, programs, and appointments.
