For Students currently in kindergarten through 5th grade
The Federation of Italian-American Organizations of Brooklyn, Ltd. (FIAO), an IRS 501©3 not for profit organization, operating community based summer programs. These programs are offered free of charge to students and are generously funded by New York State Agency OASAS.
Join Our Free Summer Program
It is with great pleasure that we inform you that once again FIAO will facilitate Summer Programming. This year’s Summer Programming will commence on July 8, 2024, and will operate for a five-week period ending on August 7, 2024.
Summer Program Sites
- St. Finbar located at 138 Bay 20th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11214
- St. Dominic located at 2001 Bay Ridge Parkway, Brooklyn, NY 11204.
Operational days
Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 9:30am – 12:30 p.m.
Please note that if one site does not meet sufficient registration the program may only be held at one location.

If you are interested in applying for your child(ren), please download and complete the application form and return to FIAO’s office.
Please Note: Faxed or emailed applications will NOT be accepted.
Children will be accepted on a first come first served basis. Additional applicants will be placed on a waiting list. Please be advised that a mandatory Orientation will be held for the parents of those children who will be attending our Summer Program. Details will be provided in the acceptance letter if your child is admitted to the program. Acceptance letters will be EMAILED by the first week of June 2024.
