Mental Health Services offered by

THE FEDERATION OF ITALIAN AMERICAN ORGANIZATIONS OF BROOKLYN

The Federation of Italian-American Organizations of Brooklyn, Ltd. (FIAO) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing community-based mental health services. Our experienced counselors are dedicated to helping you navigate life’s challenges, providing a safe and confidential space for individuals and families. These programs are offered free of charge to the community, ensuring accessible support for all.

    • Grief/Bereavement Referrals and Support
    • Domestic Violence Referrals and Support

Services are provided by Licensed Mental Health Counselors, Licensed Social Workers, Licensed Art Therapists, and Interns supervised by licensed clinicians.

 Sessions are available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.

If FIAO counseling services are not suitable, every effort will be made to provide referrals and resources to meet your needs.
