Hip Hop Dance
This program starts off with an energetic warm up routine to get moving and ready followed by a thorough stretch from head to toe. Center abdominal work follows the stretch to engage the core muscles. Students will then work isolations, learning to isolate the body to precise beats in the music. A fun Hip Hop routine will then be taught to students breaking down each section and taught in a way that creates a positive learning experience for every student. Student are encouraged to ask questions to better understand the movement they are learning. Comfortable clothing and sneakers should be worn. Ages 8-14 are recommended.
This program uses traditional martial arts moves with activities, challenges, and games to ensure the child completes a full exercise routine while also having fun. Their mind and body will be developed while releasing energy in a healthy, positive environment. Ages are divided between 4-6 and 7-11.
Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese “moving meditation” exercise that promotes an overall sense of calm and wellbeing. Students in this program will learn to perform movements of classic Yang Tai Chi in a specially designed choreography for this age group. Long-term benefits include improved focus, stamina, balance, flexibility, posture, self-confidence, self-discipline, and a sharpened mind. Ages 8-14 are recommended.
The program features kid-friendly routines based on original Zumba® choreography. Games, activities and cultural exploration elements are added to favorite music.
