Recommended Opportunities for Active Older Adults (Open to All)
Learn the fundamentals of Ballroom and Latin Dance including Cha Cha, Salsa, and Jive. No partner or prior dance experience required. Appropriate for all ages. Participants may join in person or on Zoom.
Nourish your mind and body with a gentle yoga session that uses a chair for support. The poses are done while sitting on or holding onto a chair. The gentle movements encourage better circulation and the standing poses, with the support of the chair, help build bone density. Yoga can enhance well-being by moving the joints through their full range of motion to improve overall health. The session is open to all levels of students. Modifications are offered to ensure that students with physical challenges can practice comfortably and safely.
This gentle type of yoga includes breathing, basic yoga poses, and meditation. It is a slower pace and great for beginners.
This low-impact, whole-body, ancient Chinese exercise includes Qi Gong (energy nurturing) practices to further promote internal health and an overall sense of wellbeing. Tai Chi is described as “moving meditation” because it stimulates the mind, body and spirit. Its long-term benefits include improved balance, flexibility, stamina, and posture, and a sharpened mind. You feel stronger and more energized. This session is excellent for beginners, early-stage, and mid-level students regardless of age or fitness level.
Total Body Workout
This cardio workout session incorporates low impact aerobics, strength training with light weights, and toning exercises using various props. The session ends with stretching and a relaxation. Appropriate for beginners. All levels welcome.
Perfect for active older adults who are looking for a modified Zumba® session that recreates the original moves you love at a lower intensity. The design of the session introduces easy-to-follow Zumba® choreography that focuses on balance, range of motion and coordination. Come ready to sweat and prepare to leave empowered and feeling strong.
In-Person Fitness Opportunities (Higher Intensity)
FitCulture Open Gym
The program of this open session combines calisthenics with banded and weighted resistance training, to increase strength, mobility, endurance and overall health and fitness. During these classes you will: be challenged with a variety of movements and loads; learn new exercises that you will be able to use at home; understand how to move and train with proper form and appropriate intensity.
Total Body HIIT Training
This total body workout uses weights, cardio, and your own body strength to hit your lower body, upper body, and core in every session. With the energetic music and short sets, time will fly by as you challenge and sculpt your body! This session is good for all fitness levels. Modifications and progressions will be demonstrated throughout. Participants may join in person or on Zoom.
Open Cycle Blast
An experience on and off the bike that pushes you passed your limits, not only through resistance and speed, but also by incorporating upper body exercises, weights and core work.
Timed intervals with various exercises will help manage or lose weight and increase your metabolism to help burn more calories. Muscles will be strengthened and challenged by pushing against a wall, lifting a dumbbell or pulling on a resistance band. All exercises can be done at your own pace and with as many reps as you are able to maximize your fitness level. Participants may join in person or on Zoom.

STRONG Nation™ combines body muscle conditioning, cardio weight, and plyometric training moves synced to original music that has been specifically designed to match every single move. Every squat, every lunge, every burpee is driven by the music, helping you make it to that last rep, and maybe even five more.
In each session you’ll burn calories while toning arms, legs, abs and glutes. Plyometric or explosive moves like high knees, burpees, and jumping jacks are interchanged with isometric moves like lunges, squats, and kickboxing
Dance Fitness, Total Body Conditioning, Yoga (Mid-Level Intensity)
A fusion, standing flow conditioning session that blends Ballet, Pilates, and Yoga with low impact cardio workout to build core strength, balance, and flexibility. Accessible to non-dancers. This session focuses on cardiovascular exercise with easy-to-follow choreography using current, upbeat music to keep moving. The goal is to raise the heart rate, tone the body, and have fun! All levels are welcome.
This energizing dance fitness program blends the true skill of ballroom dance with the calorie blasting properties of interval training, weight training, and plyometrics. Carefully curated playlists, using music from all genres and eras, keep participants engaged and entertained. Challenging enough for a professional dancer or provide the absolute beginner a fun workout. Women, men, and all levels welcome.
Pilates improves flexibility, builds strength and develops control and endurance in the entire body. There is an emphasis on alignment, breathing, developing a strong core, and improving coordination and balance. This session allows for different exercises to be modified in range of difficulty from beginner to advanced. Intensity can be increased over time as the body adapts itself to the exercises.
You become the music in this exhilarating full-body workout that combines cardio, conditioning, and strength training with yoga and Pilates-inspired movements. Using Ripstix®, lightly weighted drumsticks engineered specifically for exercising, POUND transforms drumming into an incredibly effective way of working out. Designed for all fitness levels, POUND® provides the perfect atmosphere for letting loose, getting energized, toning up and rockin’ out! The workout is easily modifiable, and the alternative vibe and welcoming philosophy appeals to men and women of all ages and abilities. Participants may join in person or on Zoom.
This session is a total body workout that strengthens and tones all your muscle groups while moving in and out of yoga poses and using dumbbells.
Vinyasa Yoga is a flow session with fluid sequencing of poses and a strong emphasis on alignment and core strength. Great for yogis of all levels wanting to deepen their practice and for athletes looking to find greater flexibility and body balance and coordination.
This session is an “exercise in disguise” by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves with Latin and World rhythms for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party

- Registration opens 48 hours in advance for all in-person and 1 week in advance for all virtual sessions.

- Please cancel your reservation if are unable to attend so a member on the Wait List can use your spot.
